Saskia Roures
Saskia Roures Navarro was born in Zaragoza (Spain) in 1975. She studied at the Conservatory of the same city with José Luis González Uriol, obtaining her bachelor diploma in harpsichord (1996) and in organ (1998). During her studies she has won several gold medals at the conservatory. From 1998 to 2001 she studies Organ Konzertfach at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien with Michael Radulescu. She also follows studies there in Continuo (Augusta Campagne).


She has attended regularily masterclasses in Spain, Switzerland, Italy and Austria, working with Daniel Roth, Jan Willem Jansen, Andrea Marcon, Jürgen Essl, Wolfgang Glüxam and Jacques Ogg. She also attended a post-graduate course on the organ works of Correa de Arauxo with the teacher Montserrat Torrent in the CSIC of Barcelona.


As a professional organ and harpsichord player she has performed in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia, Holland and Austria.


From 2002 to 2008 she taught Continuo and Chamber Music at the Conservatory (Conservatorio Superior) of Salamanca (Spain). Since 2008 Saskia teaches Organ at the Conservatory (Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón) of Zaragoza (Spain).
